Pictures...and things

Well, I wish I took as many pictures as all you other people I know. It isn't hard to have a camera with you when the kids are doing things, no matter what it is...Oh well, I guess I'm just lazy.

Anyway, I tried to get this pregnancy "ticker" thing put on my blog. Sure didn't work though! Man, I have no idea how to get things on the HTML thing!! I know you're probably thinking I'm a little dim in the head...but, SHEESH, that thing is hard for me to figure out. Okay, so I have about 4 weeks left in my pregnancy, so it isn't a big deal. I don't even know how to change my background pictures though--any help in those areas would be nice. Don't be too harsh with comments please.

Everything is well in the Martin family so far...still children whining and fighting a bit, but not as bad as things used to be...all is looking up for us. They are actually doing very well playing with each other! It is a wonderful thing. We are even closer to getting out of debt than I thought--our bills are much less than I expected!! How wonderful! Anyway, I will write more when there is more to write!!

Silly Emmy

These two are not the zoo, obviously. I had Emmy's hair in braids and took them out. She loved her hair that way, she wanted to show everyone. And note the beautiful artwork on her legs--that's the place she likes to color most. Silly girl.

So, one morning when Chris had gotten up for work (early shift 5am), he had covered Kaien back up with his blanket and was going to cover Emmy too...Only he couldn't find her. He had to open the door and turn the hall light on, only to find her snuggled up in the DIRTY clothes basket!! I couldn't believe it! She must have gotten up in the middle of the night and thought she was climbing into bed with us. Oh so funny!!

Fun at the Zoo

We went to the zoo just recently and we had a blast (well, I did anyway)! The kids were having a lot of fun until close to the end...they were hungry (as was I)! The tigers were so neat, they seemed to pose for the pictures and everything. The lions were really neat. We even heard the male lion roaring!! Way cool! It was so loud, and I don't even think it was roaring it's loudest. The kids liked all the slides and the toys to play on the best...the animals came second! Funny! Well, anyway, here are some pictures from the zoo:

As you can see, the kids liked the non-animal things at the zoo the best. I put the tiger picture in there because it is so cool! I just realized there are only 2 animal pictures. How funny!!

In one of these Cameron asked Kaien if he would tie his shoe for him. Kaien said, "Oh, sure." It was so cute!

The one with the squirrel was outside the zoo while we were eating lunch. This squirrel came right up to us, not shy at all. Took a chip right from my hand! Cool.

News! News! News!

Hello everyone!! The weeks have been kind to us! Chris has a job!!! Wahoo! He is working at a verison call center. Not very good pay, but we are very grateful to have a job. He even gets sick pay and paid vacation!! Awesome, huh?! We will be using the vacation pay for camping this summer!! FUN!

So, about my baby...It's a boy!! Yay! I am feeling very well, the only thing is I am so much bigger than usual. I am only six months along and I look as though I should be giving birth in the next few weeks!! So, so big. The funny thing is, everyone always comments that I am so small. That is always nice to hear.

Now for some fun news. I got my hair cut!! 14 inches!! Now it is very short. But I love it--and Chris loves it too (that is what counts for me)! I was really nervous at first, as I always am, but it all turned out well. I wasn't sure I liked it so short, but I got loads of compliments from my family right off and when I came home Chris said he loved it too!! That made things all good for me. Here are some "before" and "after" pictures: Sorry the before isn't a very good one.

Hey everyone!! Oh how long it has been! Sorry. Well, Chris (my hubby) lost his job last October and now we are living with my parents. Things were pretty rough for a while and that is why we asked my parents if we could stay with them. Still no job, but there are a few hopefulls. Many thanks to those who have helped out.

Chris is still as sweet as ever, of course!! My kids are still sweet as well. We also have some good news concerning our debt...We are closer to being out of debt than we thought!! Oh happy day! Chris is very hopeful that we will be out of debt within a year or so! That is wonderful! We are so excited to be out of debt so we can start saving for that big plot of land that we've set our goal for!

Soon I will get some pictures on here to spice things up a bit! You know, make things more interesting to read an look at. God has been good to us and we have been so blessed. All is well. Talk to you later!

The Way is Blocked!!

Well, the way in my brain is blocked! I have no idea what things to write about--I feel so lazy when I get on the computer that I can't stay on long...sometimes not even long enough to update my blog!! Fancy that.

Rumor has it that someone is copying excerpts from their journal to their blog!! What an idea! That is definitely something my brain could never have the power to come up with. Well, I guess it is time to say "Tah, Tah." The best time to say that is when you have nothing left to say--so that is why it was said. What fun!

Expectations

Well, I sure have a hard time posting things on here! There is really no excuse, I just don't take time to do it. Silly me. Sorry everyone.

So, today the kids and I were going to go on a bike ride to a bridge that over-looks the freeway (one of those just for people bridges.) Well, it just so happened that I told them to stop fighting or weren't going to go... They stopped!! But, alas, not for long--the next minute they were bantering again. So, we had to stay home. They were so mad!! I was a little as well, because I wanted to go to the bridge too!! I love seeing those big semi-trucks go under us. Oh, well. I just made some fruit leather instead.

Later, Chris called and Kaien wanted to talk to him (as usual) and right when he got on the phone he said, "We were bad, Daddy. We can't go to the bridge to see the big trucks. We can't go cause we were bad." So cute!! I didn't think he really understood me, but I was wrong. He is getting so smart!!
